Conceptual ideas constructed with traditional art materials alongside an inventive use of domestic and industrial ones are present in a creative practice that includes Painting, Sculpture, Photography and installation. In works that include centrally placed texts these conceptual ideas remain overt, while in the forested landscapes and angular ‘modernist’ abstractions, ideas are mostly obscured. It's a very ‘Arty’ art practice , self aware of art history and arts co-evolution. However an emphasis on the works physical construction underline the primacy of each artwork as very physical presences, separate from the very ideas that initiated them.
