An inventive use of traditional art materials alongside domestic and industrial ones unifies Painting, Sculpture and installation work with sharp changes of tone. It's a very ‘Arty’ art practice also, self aware of art history and arts co-evolution. Screens, games, texts, maps, science fiction and mythology often highlight a pronounced artificially and disquiet. However the emphasis on the works physical construction, alongside the motifs of lakes, forests and mountains that repeat again and again, remind the viewer of a very natural vision, of absence, space, and quiet.
